Ich hab das Problem, dass mein HP ML110 immer von  einem USB-Stick oder externe Platte  zu booten.

Hier die temporäre Lösung:
1.    Connect the USB Device on USB Port .
2.    During POST select F10 (ROM-Based Setup Utility) to enter the Phoenix Bios.
3.    In the BOOT section highlight the Hard Drive option and notice the plus (+ submenu) indicator.
4.    Press the ENTER key to display the submenu.
5.    The USB device is on top of the Boot Order, using the down arrow highlight the USB Device.
6.    Using the (-) Key, lower the USB device below the Hard Drive identified.
7.    Press F10 to Save and Exit.

ABER das Problem ist, dass wenn man den Stick entfernt, den Server neu startet und anschließend den Stick vor einem Reboot wieder installiert, der Server immernoch von dem Stick booten möchte!
Laut HP hat das folgenden Grund: Externe USB-Speichermedien werden von HP nicht supportet. Es wird kein Hotfix dafür/dagegen geben. Nur ein bestimmter USB-Stick von HP (der für Firmware-Updates gedacht ist) ist supportet.
